Dr. Oldfield oversees the medical services, population health efforts, and care coordination initiatives at Fair Haven Community Health Care.

A native of Washington, DC, Dr. Oldfield received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed residency in the combined internal medicine and pediatrics urban health track at Johns Hopkins. Following residency, he received additional training in research methods and health policy at Yale’s National Clinician Scholar Program. He is board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and addiction medicine.

Since volunteering as an HIV counselor and tester in a community health center as a medical student, Dr. Oldfield has had a firm commitment to health equity. He is passionate about building and nourishing clinical-community partnerships that increase the capacity for individuals and communities to achieve their best health.
