Dr. Pensa wrote an op-ed in the New London Day, titled “More towns should declare racism a public health crisis.” Racism is many crises, and she argues that declaring it public health crisis at the town level “allows individual communities to assess where racism exists within their communities and develop policies to dismantle it.”
