February is National School-Based Health Center Awareness Month, an effort to highlight and recognize the role school-based health center (SBHC) providers play in ensuring students have access to high-quality health care, including oral health.

Our SBHCs play a critical role in providing health care services for students that keep them healthy and able to engage in learning. As CT’s schools closed and moved to remote and hybrid learning models in response to COVID-19, our SBHCs quickly adapted to meet the changing needs of the community. And, now that kids are starting to return back to school in-person, our SBHCs are making every effort to ensure they stay safe and healthy.

We just want to thank our wonderful SBHC team for all the wonderful work that they do. We are so grateful for the care you provide our community.
