[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) beyond mainland China has prompted concern about risk of transmission in the United States.  The CDC has warned Americans to prepare for potential community spread of the disease. Awareness and prevention are key to reducing possible exposure.

If you are a FHCHC patient and develop mild to severe respiratory symptoms, and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or if you have recently traveled internationally from an area with widespread or ongoing community spread of COVID-19, you are encouraged to take extra precautions.  (These countries include China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore.) It is important to call us first before you visit so that the staff can provide you with instructions to help keep you and others safe from possible exposure.

We will continue to update our Website as we receive new information from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and our State and Local Health Departments.
