Our own Dr. Hyung Paek has been named Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) Connecticut Childhood Immunization Champion for his outstanding efforts to promote childhood immunization in Connecticut. Dr. Paek is being recognized for his efforts to make good health accessible to our very youngest patients.
As a pediatrician, information technology leader, and father, Dr. Paek believes that “having accurate immunization information in the hands of those who need it is key to keeping our children healthy.” He has seen how unclear and incomplete medical records can result in missed immunization opportunities. His combined passion for the children he provides care for and his expertise in information technology and medicine now helps ensure children get their vaccines on time.
