[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As we learn more  about COVID-19, we have been adjusting our patient protocols. At present, we are making two key changes:

No Walk-in Patients Displaying Symptoms

If you have any of these symptoms:

  • fever
  • cough
  • shortness of breath

you must call ahead for an appointment.

At this time, we not allowing any walk-in patients.  All patients must call our main number and have an appointment before visiting any of our locations.

Social Distancing – Patient Visit Impact

The guidelines set by the CDC (Center for Disease Control) instruct us to maintain a 6 foot distance from others.  In order to make sure that our patients have this room, we are limiting the size of all patient parties.  Starting tomorrow, anyone coming to FHCHC for an appointment or lab work may only bring one additional family member/friend into the health center during their appointment.  Anyone arriving with more than one additional person will be asked to reschedule their appointment and sent home.

These changes help us provide a safer environment for our patients.  Access to health care is still our mission, but patient safety is always our number one priority.  We are grateful to our patients for their role in helping to control the spread of COVID-19.

We will continue to update our website and our patient care protocols as we receive new information from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and our State and Local Health Departments.State and Local Health Departments.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
