On August 22nd, Fair Haven Community Health Care welcomed State Comptroller, Sean Scanlon and Attorney General, William Tong as they hosted a roundtable discussion surrounding healthcare access for DACA recipients.
The goal of the event was to bring together local and state elected officials, healthcare providers, and others to talk about the importance of removing the remaining barriers that prevent undocumented immigrants from being able to access quality affordable healthcare.
Also attending the roundtable was Mayor Justin Elicker, New Haven State Senator Martin Looney, and New Haven State Representative Pat Dillon among others.
