On Monday, October 23rd, Fair Haven Community Health Care’s Clinical Director of Quality and Wellbeing, Mellisa Pensa was invited to WTNH’s Connecticut’s Morning Buzz to discuss breast cancer awareness and screenings with Co-Host Natasha Lubczenko.

As part of our commitment to caring for residents in the Greater New Haven community of over 52 years, we want to make sure our patients Get Checked.

Screening options are available for patients without insurance. Screening for breast cancer is recommended for women at least 40 years old. If you have a family history of breast cancer, we recommend you get screen sooner, as family history is one of the most important risk factors for breast cancer.
