On Thursday October 5th, Dr. Mandy Cohen, the new director of the CDC visited Fair Haven Community Health Care (FHCHC) to talk about the updated COVID-19 vaccine and it’s availability to the New Haven community.
During the visit, Dr. Cohen was joined by Senator Richard Blumenthal, Governor Ned Lamont, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, and Department of Public Health Commissioner Manisha Juthani. DeLauro and Lamont both received their vaccine while at the visit, during FHCHC vaccine clinic.
